Agdam Mosque (Cuma Mosque)

Ashagi Govhar Aga Mosque is a Friday Mosque situated in Gapan Square of Shusha city. The mosque is registered by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a historical and cultural monument of national importance. It was built in the XXII century (1182) by the order of Karabakh khan Ibrahim bey. After the liberation of Shusha in November 2020, for the first time in 28 years, the call to prayer was recited in a mosque.
